Ryan Burks

President

Ryan E. Burks is the President of RYCARS Construction, a regional specialty contractor specializing in commercial roofing and building-envelope systems. Since establishing the company in 2002, he has led RYCARS in delivering more than $300 million in commercial roofing and construction projects across more than twelve states, serving healthcare, higher education, industrial, and federal clients.

A Louisiana native, Mr. Burks earned both his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Civil Engineering from Tulane University. He began his career as a design engineer supporting projects for the 1996 Olympic Games before advancing into senior project and operational leadership roles. With more than three decades of progressive construction experience, he now provides executive oversight of strategic planning, operational controls, and client relationships.

Ryan is known for his disciplined, hands-on leadership style and commitment to operational excellence. He believes strong systems, accountability, and team development are essential to sustainable growth. Under his direction, RYCARS has completed high-profile projects including the Mercedes-Benz Superdome and NASA’s Johnson Space Center.

His leadership philosophy is simple: success is not an accident — it is the result of building structures that last in business, in community, and in people.

Vice President

Stephanie Burks is the Co-Founder and ExecutiveVice-President of Corporate and Community Affairs at RYCARS Construction, LLC,where she plays a pivotal role in shaping the brand’s vision. Founded in 2002from a home office, the company name RYCARS represents an acronym honoring herloved ones, an enduring legacy for future generations.

In her dual role, Stephanie oversees the Accounting andHuman Resources departments and manages various administrative functions. She is passionate about mentoring a talented team of professionals andnurturing their development within the construction industry. Stephanie alsoengages in RYCARS’ daily operations, contributing to the company’s impressivetrack record of over $400 million in commercial roofing projects across public,private and government sectors.

Stephanie also leads RYCARS’ community engagement andphilanthropic initiatives, helping direct more than $800,000 in scholarships,charitable contributions, and volunteer efforts supporting local organizations.Under her leadership, RYCARS has received significant accolades, includingrecognition in Black Enterprise's 40th Special Anniversary Edition as one ofthe Nation’s Top 100 Businesses, recognition by New Orleans Magazine as aleader in commercial roofing, and being named a Times-Picayune Top Workplace in2021.

Beyond her professional role, Stephanie is an active civicleader, serving as a member of The Links, Incorporated – Crescent City Chapterand on the boards of the New Orleans Ballet Association, WYES, Dress forSuccess, and the New Orleans Museum of Art. She also serves on the UNCFLeadership Committee and was recognized as one of New Orleans Women of Fashionin 2016, as well as the Grand Diva of FestiGals in 2018.

Stephanie is happily married to her high school sweetheart,Ryan Burks, and they are proud parents to three children: Arielle, Ryan II, andCaleb.
